Man takes selfie while his wife is giving birth… it goes viral

Everyone knows that giving birth isn’t the most relaxing process (understatement of the year), which is why you have a plan organised and your loved ones around you for support. For one woman, her husband wasn’t so focused on holding her hand and breathing her through the contractions. Oh no, he wanted to get the perfect selfie. Reddit user Gilsolano12 posted the below picture on Imgur. He explained in the caption: "My wife wanted to make sure that someone took a picture of the expression on our faces when our daughter was born today. "So I took one." The image has since been viewed more than 2 million times and has received a number of comments. One said: “This is awesome, but you might be dead when she regains full mental capacity and finds this.” (If he was ours, he would have been!) In response to another, the new father wrote: “Haha thanks! Yeah, I actually took this pic to send to her brothers who kept asking how it was going. “I showed it to her in between pushes and she cracked up. Now I'm reading her all of you guys comments while she feeds our healthy 7lb 6 oz girl. “P.S. Her mom took pics of our reactions 10 mins later :)”. While we think it’s lovely that she was able to laugh about it and would like to pass on our congratulations on the new arrival, we definitely would have taken his phone and thrown it out the window… or at him.
