The Mothership: What to do if your child is being bullied

Laura Cunningham

A child being bullied is a traumatic thing for the whole family.

Welcome to The Mothership, the show that brings the issues that matter most to Irish families, to the table.

On this week’s episode, we’re talking about bullying. What can we as parents do if our child is being picked on or harassed, in school or at their hobby groups or sporting activities?

Joining us this week is CEO of Parentline, Aileen Hickie, journalist and author Jen Hogan and popular Youtuber and TikToker, Amy O’Neill.

Being bullied or dealing with your precious child being on the receiving end of bullying is such a traumatic thing for many. This week, we discuss how to manage bullying, both in terms of the practical steps to take and also dealing with the upset it causes.

A huge thank you as always to our panel.
