Raising kids is a messy business.
Most of the time, for all of us, having young children is hectic and loud and borderline chaotic. It is chasing your tail and always feeling like you are not doing enough and trying to learn how to live in the moment while also attempting to not notice the dried up Weetabix on the kitchen floor and the glitter spills under the dining table.
The trick, I think, is trying to always keep reminding yourself that, as with most things, this too shall pass. And then you'll miss these messy days more than you can imagine. So for now; live it, soak it up and just, you know, try to see the funny side – I promise you it is there.
