Nicola McLean’s controversial parenting style has sparked a debate

The mum of two appeared on This Morning today.

Nicola McLean took part in a debate about whether or not it is okay to tell off other people's children on the chat show. She revealed she refuses to let anyone discipline her kids, including her husband, Tom Williams. "If you interfere with my parenting you think what you're doing is better than me." "You think your parenting technique is better than mine. That's not on."

The 36-year-old continued to say that she wants her children to know that she's the boss. She doesn't want other people, including teachers, butting in and sending a bad message to her boys. When asked whether the same rules applied to her husband, Nicola said:

"Absolutely, 100 per cent, I absolutely hate it."

However, the outspoken mum admitted if she saw another parent smacking their son or daughter in public, she would get involved and has done so in the past.
