A photograph of an elderly couple shopping has gone viral this week for the sweetest reason.
The picture was posted to the Love What Matters Facebook page by Hannah Nicole Kent and has (to date) received almost one million Likes and over 325,000 shares.
While it might just look like an image of a couple shopping, it is actually so much more than that. The secret is in the caption.
It reads: “This husband was helping his wife choose a make-up that matched her skin tone. She was so concerned about finding the right one and he was so unbelievably helpful.
“She was having a ‘girl’ moment, in a panic struggling to find the right one. He calmed her down, helped her find her colour and kissed her on the forehead.
“It was such a simple way to show how big his love was for her. A perfect reminder that our bodies grow old but out love doesn’t have to.”
Aww, we only hope we’re still going on like this at their age…
