Back in September Rachel Stevens divided opinion when photographs emerged of her leaving her two daughters in the car while she ran errands.
The former S Club 7 singer has now spoken out about the incident after which she received a wave of negative comments.
She told Essentials magazine: “Parenting is always going to split judgement and you never have all the answers. I would never do anything to intentionally harm my girls.”
She continued: “Whatever you do as a parent, you will be judged by other people. You can only do your best.”
Others including Supernanny Jo Frost jumped to the defence of Rachel, who is mum to four-year-old Amelia and one-year-old Minnie Blossom.
