Revealed… the nation’s biggest Christmas taboo

HerFamily

Christmas is generally a happy time but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t things that get on your nerves.

A new survey, conducted by Christmas FM, has revealed the biggest Christmas taboo and while we do agree, we are totally guilty of doing it.

It turns out over a third of people hate when someone digs into the second layer of chocolates or biscuits before the first is finished.

Opening presents on Christmas Eve was a close second, following by the tendency to tell children they’re on Santa’s naughty list.

As for things people like, Monopoly is the board game most families reach for on Christmas Day. Trivial Pursuit, Guess Who and Charades are also popular choices.

Christmas FM is on air now and this year is raising funds for Make A Wish Ireland, a charity which works to make the wishes of children with terminal or life-threatening conditions come true.
