Singer/Actress Jana Kramer Hits Back At Mum Shamers

New mum Jana Kramer has hit back at mum-shamers on Instagram. The singer/actress shared the below snap on her social media account last week and revealed that she was starting her baby girl on jarred baby food. The caption simply read: “And it begins. #babyfood”.

Unfortunately, a number of parents criticised Jana for taking this step when her daughter is four months old and for not making her own baby food. Thankfully, fans of the new mum jumped to her defence. One wrote: “I started my 1st with solids at 3-4 months. He's 4 and healthy as can be. My 7 month old has been on solids for about 3 months and he's thriving. I hate those self-righteous moms. Ugh!!” Jana, who welcomed her little girl at the beginning of this year, also decided to respond to the shamers with the message below.

The caption read: “I have been very open with pictures of my daughter and our journey because my true fans have been on my journey from day one and I want them to be a part of my new journey now. If you have negative comments about how I parent my child, keep it to yourself !!” The note itself reads: “Dear Mommy Shamers, Unless you are Jolie’s doctor, her father, or her mom, do NOT tell me how to raise my child, or how to feed her.
