Swimmer Rebecca Adlington shares sweet festive snap of baby daughter

A lot of parents will be celebrating their first Christmas with a pair of tiny feet in the house this morning. That group includes Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington and her husband Harry Needs, who welcomed their first child together earlier this year. Rebecca shared a festive snap of her little family (in Christmas jumpers might we add) on Instagram ahead of the celebrations.

The caption reads: “Merry Christmas everyone!!! We’re excited for our first Christmas with Summer! Love family time… #christmasjumpers #family #love”. Little Summer is just six months old but already she’s had a massive impact on her mum’s life and body. Rebecca recently got a tattoo dedicated to her baby girl – it is the symbol for Gemini to represent the little one’s birth date.

Tattoo's definitely arent for everyone but i love mine and they mean something to me which is the main thing. I already have the Olympic rings & the Chinese symbol for water as China seemed a lucky place for me with swimming. Yesterday, i got the Gemini symbol which is Summers star sign and i got the Infinity symbol which i have always loved. Was always something to represent my husband @harryneeds but the love me and harry feel for Summer is definitely endless and love beyond words.
