This Terrifying Child Predator Test Will Leave You Shocked

Sive O'Brien

When Internet prankster, Coby Persin decided to carry out a child predator test for his YouTube channel, the result was truly terrifying.

Highlighting the dangers of social media, the 21-year-old began the experiment by creating a fake Facebook profile for a 15-year-old boy called Jason Biazzo. With the agreement of their families, Coby (or Jason) started chatting with three girls – one aged 14, another aged 13 and a third aged just 12 – before asking to meet up with them.

Watch as the girls (all of whom gave their mobile numbers) think they are meeting with Jason, but come face-to-face with Coby. And their parents.

Judging by the very emotional responses, the outcome was a shock not just for the girls, but also for the mum and dads who took part in the experiment.

The test serves as a great lesson and definitely highlights the dangers of social media; however, we do wonder if there are less terrifying (but as effective) ways of drilling the message home.
