There’s an Elf on the Shelf for Easter and its the cutest thing ever

Keeley Ryan

We know, we know.

It feels like it hasn’t been quite long enough since Santa’s ‘helper’ spy, the Elf on the Shelf, has been packed away.

And it definitely seems to be far too soon to be talking about an Easter alternative – yet, these are just too cute not too.

The idea behind the Easter Eggsters is that the Easter Bunny’s four forest friends – the raccoon, the skunk, the squirrel, or the rabbit – are watching to see if your little one is being naughty or nice.

Then the critters, who are the “eyes and ears” of the operation, report back to the Easter Bunny himself with their findings.

Every night, your little one is supposed to put their woodland friend back into the egg – so they can report back to the Easter Bunny, naturally.

Each one of them comes in its unique and colourful jumbo egg – with the bunny in the pink one, the skunk in the blue one, the racoon in the yellow one and the squirrel in the green one.

But if you fancy your forest critter hopping between shells every day – or year – you can also buy different coloured egg shells.

The eggs can be decorated with stickers, paint, glitter and all kinds of festive designs – and, if you’re looking for inspiration, there’s even a section on the website filled with ideas.

Alongside the eggs comes an Easter Eggsters book, which tells the tale of the Easter Bunny and his four watchful helpers.

Each one is priced at $34.95 (around €28). While the company don’t officially ship to Ireland, there’s some shipping alternatives like Address Pal.
