This Dad got a very unusual tattoo… for a VERY sweet reason

When his little girl was about to get her second cochlear implant, Alistair Campbell came up with a novel way of making her feel more comfortable about the operation. The New Zealand dad had a cochlear implant tattooed on the side of his head, much to the delight of six-year-old Charlotte, who deemed it 'cool'. The proud dad was intent on making sure his daughter didn't feel like the odd one out, but he may have (subconsciously) been trying to fit in with the family: Charlotte and her mum Anita both have cochlear implants, while her older brother Lewis wears a hearing aid. Anita says the implant has changed Charlotte's life, bringing out her true personality and turning her from a quiet child into 'pretty much a social butterfly,’. Dad's tattoo tribute will disappear when his hair grows, but he's agreed to shave it off when ever Charlotte requests another look.
