Ah summertime… the season of sunshine (sometimes); ice cream (occasionally); and shorts and t-shirts (periodically).
But come rain or shine, we reckon that a trampoline is a pretty solid component of any idyllic summer.
Which is why we were oh-so excited and all sorts of over-the-moon to see that Aldi has a 2.5metre one landing on Thursday, June 15 (get that date in your diary!) priced at €100.
Of course, trampolining is a great way to encourage kids to play outdoors and keep fit and active. We’d be tempted to give it whirl ourselves – but fyi, max weight is 50kg (yeah, we weigh a bit more than that at the moment).
This model (which is suitable for ages six and older) also comes with a safety enclosure which protects little heads, legs and arms against contact with springs and the frame
A final word of warning: you have to put it together yourself, but Aldi promises us that it’s “easy assembly”.
