Turns out we have all been applying plasters wrong this whole time

Trine Jensen-Burke

If you are living with kids, you will more than likely be well-used to applying plasters on both visible and invisible boo-boo’s rather frequently.

But how often have you carefully wrapped a plaster around a little finger only to have your tot come back within minutes and show you how it is either already sliding off, or having in no-time ended up with dirty and frayed ends?

Yup, us too.

The thing is; we have just, at least according to this genius Japanese Twitter user, been doing it wrong this whole time.

Just take a look at this so much more effective way Ponzuyo is telling us all to apply plasters:

The simple step-by-step picture shows that all you have to do is cut the plaster at both ends and then fasten the strips diagonally around the injured finger.

Genius, or what?!

Apparently, doing it this way lets the plaster sit far more snug around your finger, and won’t slide off as easily.
