Want to bag some emoji costumes, goody bags and free movie tickets?

Your kids could help break a world record.

Any emoji fans in your house?

If so, they might like to be part of this cool world record attempt!

To celebrate World Emoji Day on Saturday 15 July, there’ll be an event at Dundrum Town Centre to try and break the world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as emoji faces in multiple venues.

Participants will deck themselves out in emoji costumes and join other emoji lovers in Brazil, the UK, China, Russia and Dubai UAE on the day to try and set a new world record.

As well as getting an official emoji costume to keep and an emoji goody bag, anyone who takes part will also get to see The Emoji Movie before anyone else.

They’ll receive tickets to a special screening of the film ahead of its release on 4 August.

The event takes place between 1.45pm and 3.30pm at the Millpond at Dundrum Town Centre, but if you’d like to get involved you’ll have to be quick!

There are just 120 places for participants – if you want to join in, you can send your name, age and contact details to emojiworldrecord@gmail.com.
