Scare yourself silly this Halloween at Mayo’s Westport House and Hotel Westport.
Westport House will be transformed into a spooky Haunted Estate House this October and it’s something you and the kids won’t want to miss.
With Scary Story Time, from the White Witch of Westport to visiting the dark dungeons, where the Pirate Queen Grace O’Malley locked up her prisoners it’s set to be a Halloween event to remember.
Visitors can head over to the Pirate Adventure Park for thrilling rides on the Cannonball Run, the Pirate Queen Swing Ship and the Pirates Plunge, but that’s not all. There will also be a bouncy castle, go-karts and an indoor soft play area for tiny tots.
Alternatively, the kids can carve a creepy pumpkin and decorate some ghoulish goblin cakes at the Spooky Spoons Workshop or even get their zombie moves on at the Thriller Dance Class.
It’s not all go-go-go though as you can relax with a lake drift in the Swan Pedalos or hop aboard the Westport House Express.
Tickets for Westport House Halloween Fest are €66.50 for a Family Pass for 2 adults and 2 kids. That includes all Halloween activities plus full use of the Pirate Adventure Park.
The only additional cost will be €3 per pumpkin in the Pumpkin Carving activity or bring your own pumpkin and no fee will apply.
