Fans of David Bowie are in for a treat as there will be a family fun day held next week dedicated to the Starman himself.

Starman Sunday will be taking place next Sunday in Dublin’s famous Phoenix Park.

It is one of the many events being held as part of the Dublin Bowie Festival.

Starman Sunday starts at 9:30 am and runs till 6 pm next Sunday, January 13 at the Phoenix Park Visitors Centre.

The free family fun day is jam-packed with activities including art, talks, stargazing (of course) and some amazing science experiments bound to entertain the whole family.

It’s not the only family event taking place during the festival which takes place from January 7 to 13.

The Gifts Of The Starman Art Exhibition which is also being held at the Phoenix Park Visitors Centre next runs from Wednesday to Sunday.

Taking from the iconic David Bowie song “Starman”, on display will be winning selections from a primary/post-primary children’s art competition hosted by Blackrock Castle Observatory and Dublin Bowie Festival.

The festival is also proud to have the amazing “Physics Busking” team for the Festival. The “busking performances” involve family based interactive experiments and demonstrations.
