Ever since Carrie and the SATC girls made frosted cupcakes the sweet treat of choice for everyone (we’re still not convinced macaroons are the new cupcakes, by the way), we have been trying to perfect our own cupcakes every time there is an occasion to whip up a batch.
But, if you like us, have tried, you will know that getting that perfect, effortless looking Magnolia Bakery swirl is, in fact, not that effortless at all.

Keep in mind , though, that this all takes practice and patience. You may notice a remarkable improvement in your technique after decorating a few cupcakes, but even if your first few batches aren’t picture perfect, believe us, they will still taste delicious.
