10 Hospital Bag Necessities For Less Than €100 (White Dress Not Included!)

Sophie White

Packing the hospital bag is one of those lovely pregnancy rites of passage like the first scan and preparing the baby’s room. Though unfortunately my first time round despite repeated warnings, I never managed to get mine organised and wound up arriving at the hospital with a Tesco bag of random stuff.

It was a cloth bag, so it wasn’t quite so bad as showing up with a plastic shopping bag, but I’m probably clutching at straws here. Being that disorganised at 39 weeks doesn’t exactly scream ‘parent material,’ does it? This time, I am all over the hospital bag thing and am quite enjoying my quest for front-opening nightdresses and any dressing gown that doesn’t look like it was owned by Vera Duckworth from Coronation Street.

The knickers, in my experience can not be giant enough – especially if you wind up have a c-section you want the waistband to be well above the incision.
