It's a heady time.
The pregnancy hormones (or whore-moans as I like to call them) are a very real battle for the women lumbering around among us, propagating the species and heroically resisting the urge to scream at random strangers for queuing too close behind them in Tesco (just me?).
Here are ten crazy things you will do when off your face on pregnancy hormones:
1. Cry A LOT
Mostly over nothing.
2. Go to Ikea
You will think at some point that it's a great idea to go to Ikea while heavily pregnant and off your head on hormones. If you're anything like me, you'll probably decide to bring the toddler too then be surprised when you have a little cry in a fake kitchenette because the toddler has been tantruming for 25 minutes.
3. Have a fight with the Other Half...
...hourly.
4. Have a fight with your mother...
...any time you go near her.
5. Watch One Born Every Minute
Mistake.
6. Buy insane clothes that you would NEVER EVER wear in your right mind
There's something about pregnancy that makes us lose all sense of our personal style. Or maybe it's just a strong desire for elasticated everything.
7. Make really REALLY bad decisions
Like repainting the house or worse move house.
8. Get the builders in
Seriously ever notice the couples in Grand Designs are ALWAYS up the duff by the second half.
9. Decide on names and then change them at the LAST minute...
... To something more appropriate to a beloved dog than a baby. Doh.
10. Undertake ambitious plans that are destined to fail
Like going for a hike at seven months and then having to phone the other half (who you were most likely recently screaming at for not being understanding enough) to rescue you.
