Benedict Cumberbatch has become a dad again and the name is gorgeously quaint

Sherlock actor, Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife, Sophie Hunter have become parents for the second time.

The Mail Online reports that the couple had a baby boy in early March.

The new arrival will be a baby brother for Christopher Carlton who will turn two in June.

It's believed they named the newborn Hal Auden Cumberbatch - a nod to their shared love of the literary world.

Hal is the nickname given to Hanry V in William Shakespeare's play of the same name while Auden is a celebrated poet W.H.Auden, best known for his poem at the funeral service in Four Weddings and a Funeral.

Benedict and Sophie got married in 2015 after meeting on the set of Burlesque Fairytales in 2009.

We think the name is quaint but strong and we wish the couple all the best.
