Helen George is a great person.
She’s beautiful, she’s funny, and she plays Trixie in Call the Midwife which means she’s just a bundle of joy.
She also recently gave birth to a baby girl… who arrived so early that she was able to attend her own baby shower.

The new mum gave birth to the baby girl quite recently, having only gone public with her pregnancy last month at the TV Choice awards.

Helen started dating Call the Midwife co-star Jack Ashton earlier this year after she split from husband Oliver Boot, whom she met on the set on Hotel Babylon in 2012.
The pair are separated and have two dogs together.
Jack, understandably, looks only delighted to be celebrating the pre-birth of his daughter with his daughter.
Jack plays Reverend Thomas in Call the Midwife – a character who also briefly dated Helen’s character Trixie in the show.
However, unlike in real life, the two of them didn’t have any babies of their own.
Helen has confirmed that she is not planning to leave the show, but that she will be taking a bit of time off… and rightly so.
