Genius.

Okay so I have not had a baby, but I reckon what’s ahead of me is not a walk in the park.

It is a beautiful thing to bring a child into the world, but jesus lads, it’s gotta hurt.

And time and time again, I have heard men say that women just have a lower pain threshold than them.

“Ah, I’m sure it’s not that bad like. Probably just being dramatic.”

Excuse moi?

Well fellas, would you be brave enough to see for yourself? Because now you can.

A company called Ultrasound Baby Face is first in the world to offer men a chance to experience what it’s like to be in labour.

Now, obviously it won’t be the exact same sensation, but it’s as close as any man is gonna get to contractions.

The company is offering a 30-minute labour experience, so that dads-to-be can understand what their partner will go through.

In that 30 minutes, the man will wear a heavy bump while carrying out a range of tasks including picking up toys and climbing over hurdles.

All in a day’s work for mums.

They will then have a Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation machine strapped to their stomach.

That’s where the fun begins.

The man will endure short electric shocks for seven minutes.

That is significantly shorted than ANY actual labour, but they’ll get an idea.

A spokesperson for the company said:

“It’s a chance for the man to show to his partner that he is there for them and to help them experience a little bit of what they’re partner is going through.”

“It will hopefully be a bit of a giggle for the woman as well. Something to make her feel a bit better about everything she has ahead.”

The service is currently only available in Bristol for just £25!

So, if you fancy going on a little bonding weekend before the baby arrives, you can book here.

And PLEASE, take pictures.
