Midwife suggests that the shape of Meghan Markle’s bump reveals her baby’s gender

A midwife has suggested that the shape of Meghan Markle’s bump could reveal the gender of her baby.

Now while you can’t take this for gospel truth, old wives tales about pregnancy have been circulating for years and although there’s no proof they have any real bearing on things, people are interested all the same and royal fans are pretty much obsessed with Meghan Markle’s bump.

For some time now, royal fans have been obsessing over when Meghan Markle will give birth and many believe her due date is next month, more on that here.

However, the latest prediction relates to the baby’s gender and it comes courtesy of Amanda Bude, a midwife who works with Groovy Babies.

Based in Australia, Amanda is also a baby & sleep consultant who regularly contributes to TV channels including Channel 9 and the Today Show.

Amanda has explained that the way a woman is carrying her baby can indicate whether she is going to have a baby boy or girl.

Chatting to Body and Soul, Amanda said that the age-old wives tale says that if you’re carrying “wide and low”, you’re having a girl.

However, if you’re carrying “high and pointy”, people say you’re going to have a boy which is what people think Meghan will have.

We’re going to take this with a pinch of salt but it’s interesting all the same.

Amanda also made sure to say that there isn’t any official research to credit this but again royal fans are very intrigued to see whether Meghan will have a boy or girl.

During the recent royal tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga, Harry reportedly said that he wanted the couple to have a girl.

However, we’re sure that they will be delighted with their baby whatever the gender, exciting times for the newlyweds!
