Since Serena Williams announced her pregnancy back in April, the tennis star has continued to serve (sorry) looks and inspirational essays about the struggles that black women face in the workplace.
Now Serena is back on all of our news feeds today because of her 1950s-style baby shower and, to be honest, we can see why.

Joined by the likes of Ciara, Kelly Rowland, Eva Longoria and, of course, sister Venus, the Grand Slam champion stunned in a yellow Poodle skirt, black crop top, and classic set of pearls.
The rest of the gals were also out in force in their tulle skirts, saddle shoes, and a few pairs of Converse thrown into the mix.

The shower was unequivocally ’50s themed featuring a jukebox, and a literal Baby O’Diner.
Ciara also shared a video on Instagram on her and Venus dancing, holding Serena’s bump, and looking mildly shocked that she was, in fact, pregnant.

Eva also took to social media to share some more iconic snaps of the party.
Serena “accidentally” revealed her pregnancy a few months ago via Snapchat, when she posted a picture in a yellow one-piece with the caption “20 weeks.”
