This simple trick could TRIPLE his fertility

From the positions you favour in bed to the time of day you decide to get busy, there is plenty of advice on when, where and how to have sex when trying for a baby.

When it comes to conceiving however, the latest research suggests it may be a case of second time lucky.

Researchers at London’s North Middlesex Hospital have discovered that doing the deed twice in 60 minutes significantly improves a couple’s chances of becoming parents.

The study involved 73 couples, all of whom were undergoing intrauterine insemination (IUI), (a fertility treatment that involves placing sperm inside a woman’s uterus to facilitate fertilisation).

When the men in the group produced two sperm samples in one hour, the second sample was found to result in a pregnancy success rate of 20 per cent, compared to the six per cent average success rate.

According to study lead Gulam Bahadur, an infertility specialist at North Middlesex Hospital: ‘Though this is a relatively small study, we believe it is a big step forward and could make a major difference to pregnancy rates.

‘It would be reasonable to assume the same effect would apply to men trying to conceive naturally.’

So there you have it. If you’re hitting the bedroom on a mission, bring snacks; this may take a while.
