Andy Murray’s 10-month-old gave him a bloody nose by accident

Ah, god.

Look, babies don’t mean to cause injury.

They just don’t. The same could not be said for an adult human – generally when they injure somebody, they intend to do it, they are aware of their limb movements, and whether they harbour regret or not, it’s still pretty much seen as their fault.

When it comes to babies though, the same simply cannot be said.

For the most part, babies cannot be held accountable for their actions. One of those babes is Andy Murray’s 10-month-old, Edie.

She and him were having a presumable nice time before she decided to hit him across the face leading to the tennis champion suffering a bloody nose.

Grim enough.

So grim, in fact, that Andy decided to share a photo of his nose to Instagram Stories.

He captioned the picture: “When playing with your 10 month old daughter gets a bit too physical!”

Tragic.

The accident happened just a few hours before Andy was scheduled to compete against Fernando Verdasco in his second-round match at the US Open today.

Andy and wife Kim welcomed their second child, Edie, 10-months-ago.

They already have another little girl, Sophia, together. Following the birth of her second, Kim said:

“We’re absolutely delighted. Another little girl, a little sister for Sophia so hopefully that’ll be great for her too.

“She’ll have a little playmate.”

And Andy’ll have someone to accidentally smack him in the head. In a loving way though.
