Joe Wicks shares a very clever tip for getting his newborn daughter to sleep

Have you tried this?

Being kept up at night has to be one of the toughest things to deal with when you become a parent for the first time.

Sleep pretty much goes out the window with a newborn – but there are certain things you can try.

Your little one might enjoy being rocked in a buggy or bouncer or going for a spin in the car before bedtime.

Or, like ‘Body Coach’ Joe Wicks’ newborn daughter Indie, he or she might like some soothing music.

The trainer behind the bestselling Lean In 15 books told followers that he uses a playlist that he played during the baby’s birth to help get her to sleep.

“We have kind of established that she is a little bit nocturnal so between 12 and 6 am she’s hungry all through the night,” he said.

“When the baby was born I played this really chilled playlist I found on Spotify, it’s like acoustic guitar, relaxation, spa.

“So if you want something to help you sleep at night or when you go into labour check it out.”

The playlist is called ‘Ultimate Massage Music Ensemble’ on Spotify, Joe revealed.

Joe and his partner Rosie welcomed baby Indie at the end of last month.

He announced that he’d become a dad with a photo of himself cradling his little girl.

“Rosie and the baby are both in great health and we are all so happy and can’t stop cuddling,” he wrote.
