John McAreavey and his wife Tara Brennan posted to Instagram yesterday to announce they have given birth to their first child, a baby boy.
The couple who married in a private ceremony in 2016 shared a beautiful family photo to social media to announce their son’s arrival.

Along with the heart warming photo the couple also revealed their new son’s name;
“Let the adventures begin James.”
The photo has received thousands of likes and hundreds of comments for well wishers delighted that John has found his happy ending.
John tragically lost his first wife Michaela in 2011 after she was murdered on their honeymoon. Michaela was only 27 at the time of her murder.
Speaking recently to Pat Kenny, about becoming a first time dad John said;
“I was able to find Tara and we’ve had a beautiful relationship and now we’re about to have an addition to our family and it’s just something that I feel so grateful for and I’m just so excited by that.”
John and Tara met in 2012 at an event in memory of his late wife Michaela.
John is still fighting for justice after the two hotel workers, Avinash Treebhoowoon and Sandip Moneea, who were charged with the murder of Michaela were later acquitted.
