Following an update from Government on guidance for retailers who provide shoe fitting services for children, two retailers at Dundrum Town Centre are now open by appointment only for children’s shoe fitting services and the sale of children’s shoes.
Clarks at Dundrum Town Centre are offering kids’ shoe fitting services in store with individual one-to-one appointments. Customers can call the store directly to book an appointment, and in line with Government guidelines, appointments must be made on behalf of a child in advance of the child’s attendance in store.
Customers can call Clarks at Dundrum Town Centre to book an appointment on +353 1 296 3097.
Schuh at Dundrum Town Centre are also open by appointment only for their kids’ shoe fitting service. Bookings are available from 9am – 5pm Monday – Saturday and 10am – 5pm on Sunday.
Customers are required to book a 20-minute slot before coming into the store and bookings can be made via Schuh’s website at www.schuh.ie/stores/dublin-dundrum.
Personally I don't think children's shoe stores or children's clothing stores in generally should have closed during any of the lockdowns are they are very much essential.
Unlike adults children are constantly growing and need new clothing regularly.
It's also next to impossible to judge if shoes ordered online will fit correctly which is why I'm so glad shoe fitting services are resuming.Explore more on these topics:
