Easy Halloween crafts you can do with the kids using just egg cartons and leaves

Halloween is just around the corner.

If you're super excited for All Hallows Eve and just can't wait to get into the spooky spirit why not kick it all off with some cute Halloween crafts? I love doing arts and crafts with my kids and I love it, even more, when we can use stuff from around the house. Recently I came across a post about creating fun Halloween decorations using just egg cartons and fallen leaves and I can't wait to try it.   These festive crafts are really easy and will add the perfect Halloween look to your house. Egg carton bats To make some scary bats simply take some old egg cartons and cut them in half. After that paint them black and using some PVA glue apply some googly eyes. If you don't have stick-on eyes white paint works just as well. Ghostly leaves For some haunting ghosts collect up some leaves from your garden or the park. Lay them out on some newspaper and paint them with white poster paint. After the paint has dried draw on their ghostly faces using a black marker. After all the paint is dried and the glue is set, add some ribbon or string and have fun with the kids hanging your new decorations all over the house to spook and surprise your guests.
