Another weekend stuck in, another 48 hours trying to keep the kids from climbing the walls.
(Actually, make that 47 – the clocks for forward, so at least we are losing an hour!)
If this is you, know that I feel you, mama. And sending you all my thoughts and virtual hugs.
Luckily, though, more and more resources are being made available to help us all deal with all this being at home together for the foreseeable future.
Need a little something to distract them while you take 20 minutes to yourself this weekend, mums? Thankfully, Audible is now offering free audiobooks for kids.
All you need to do is just download the free app, and voila; you’ll see a variety of children’s stories, even the classics, for all ages up to teen.
Even better? There are also six different languages to choose from, and the Audible website says the service will be available for as long as schools are closed.
It’s this, isn’t it? All these little things, all these people and companies and individuals, helping us all do this together.
Now; where are those headphones?!
