I learned pretty quickly when I became a parent that a lot of the time you just have to wing it. There is no manual and some days a parent has got to do what a parent has got to do. I laugh at the times before I had my kids when I would tut at parents who would bribe their kids so that they could get a few minutes of peace or actually drink a hot cup of tea. That version of me knew nothing. Recently I came across a parent who knew what was up and created an unusual ball pit to keep their child entertained. As I said before sometimes I parent has got to do what a parent has got to do. When you have no ball pit but still have the ball what do you do? Create a sofa ball pit of course. Since becoming a parent myself I've come across so many parenting hacks like this and I'm never not amazed at how creative parents become when they need to distract their children. Now I'm just wondering if it would work with the sofa I have.
