Lil & Izzy Boutique is the newest sustainable Irish babywear brand

Melissa Carton

So gorgeous.

Lil & Izzy Boutique is the newest sustainable Irish babywear brand on the block and it has some seriously beautiful pieces.

The online store, which launched successfully during August on lilandizzyboutique.com, offers high-quality sustainable baby products with functional, unique and clever designs.

The practical yet stylish range, which launched with four core products, is designed using premium organic cotton.

Katie Brandon Byrne, from Co. Wicklow, is the designer and creator behind the new award-winning sustainable baby brand Lil & Izzy Boutique.

After spotting a gap in the Irish market, Katie went about developing her own range of ethically sourced* organic babywear.

“After becoming a mother, I became much more eco-conscious. I started to really think about my options before buying from a brand. My youngest daughter Isabelle has hyper-sensitive skin and allergies and I found the choice of sustainable and organic cotton baby products in Ireland very limited. I really couldn’t find what I wanted without shipping in from international brands along with hefty price tags so I went about designing my own. Several months later, Lil & Izzy Boutique was born!”

The current product offering, now available online, includes a baby grow, bib, hat and blanket in a range of beautiful earth tones. The core four products can also be purchased in a bundle for the perfect present for new parents. The range, which is certified by GOTS and OEKO-TEX, starts from €7 for an organic cotton bib.

Lil & Izzy Boutique will showcase in The Motherhood pop-up in Dun Laoghaire Shopping Centre from the 18th-22nd September from 10am-5pm.
