Model Ashley Graham became a mum earlier this year and recently posted photos of herself celebrating her first summer since becoming a mum.
The 32-year-old shot a series of photographs which appeared in her home State of Nebraska flaunting her stretchmarks and ‘mom-bod’ and they are gorgeous.

Graham, who has been a beacon of body positivity for years being one of the few plus sized models in mainstream fashion, was delighted to show off her post pregnancy body.
Posting to Instagram Graham wrote;
“Some things I love: a cute bathing suit and a backyard shoot with the family! We’ve had such great time making the most of this summer in Nebraska and these suits have me feeling great for my first summer as a mommy!”

Since giving birth in January Graham has been very open and honest about her experience of motherhood and has posted many candid images of her family life.
In a world of photoshop and filters I have to say I find it really refreshing that Graham is showing off her natural post pregnancy body as many new mums struggle with the pressure to ‘bounce back’ after giving birth.
Hopefully with more celelbrities using their followings to show what bodies really look like after having a baby, more mums will cut themselves some slack and not worry so much about losing weight or getting back into shape right away.
