This simple trick will make sure your kids put their shoes on the right feet

Keeley Ryan

Genius.

Realistically (and statistically) speaking, a child putting their own shoes on should get the correct combination 50 per cent of the time.

Somehow, though, kids  defy the laws of physics and probability and their shoes end up on the wrong feet every time.

Then you’ve either got to end up letting your little one walk around with their shoes on the wrong feet, or run the risk of sparking a “Butwant to do it!” meltdown.

Thankfully, one mum has come up with an adorable – and SO simple – trick to help her little one solve the dilemma of which shoe goes on which foot.

And, really, you’re going to want to use it for every single pair of shoes your little has.

Pick out a sticker – one that’s a bit bigger, like the cats in the photo, would be ideal – and cut it into two. Then, stick one half in each shoe, towards where the heel of the foot goes.

Matching the sticker and making it whole again means that the shoes are on the right feet every single time.

A mum shared the game changing trick on Instagram in February last year, where she praised it for giving her a “confident 4-year-old.”

She wrote:

“For all you parents of little people- took 5 seconds and gave me a confident 4 year old and one less question asked daily. I’ll take it!”
