Rory continues to give her dad the cold shoulder until she learns his father has passed away. Lorelai spends time comforting Christopher but keeps it from Luke, and Richard and Emily find a lost dog.
Season Six: Episode Twelve - Just Like Gwen and Gavin
Knowing he has let too much time go by, Luke is still unable to tell Lorelai about the existence of his 12-year-old daughter, April, and he is thrown into a panic when April wants to hang out with him at the diner.
When April and Lorelai both show up at the diner and begin chatting, April innocently explains that Luke is her father.

Lorelai and Christopher put the holidays on hold until Rory returns from London. Luke asks Lorelai to write a recommendation letter for his custody battle.

Fresh from a career high, Rory pays a visit to Stars Hollow. Emily copes with Richard's death. The inn keeps Lorelai busy as she ponders her future.
