Dublin Zoo has revealed the theme for this year’s Wild Lights

Wild Lights returns to Dublin Zoo this winter

Dublin Zoo has unveiled the theme of this year’s award-winning night-time event, Wild Lights: ‘A Journey Through Time’.

There’s something for all ages, from the youngest dinosaur experts to older history buffs.

Visitors will travel billions of years back in time, all the way to the Big Bang. From there, intrepid time-travellers will have the chance to roam among dinosaurs before witnessing the age of humans, the rise of ancient civilisations, and right through to modern times.

Visitors will be transported across time as they discover the history of our planet through the ages, there’s everything from pre-historic megafauna to life-changing first inventions.

You can even look forward to works of art from the Renaissance, all in the form of bright and colourful, eye-catching lanterns.

To celebrate the return of Wild Lights, Dublin Zoo is offering a limited-time discount of 50% off tickets for the opening weekend, from Friday, October 25th until Sunday, October, 27th as well as a 30% discount offer for the following weekend, from Friday, November 1st until Sunday, November 3rd.

Wild Lights is a magical immersive experience, perfect for friends and family members of all ages to come together and create unforgettable memories as they ‘Journey Through Time’ together. 

Opening Times

Wild Lights will open to the public from 6pm – 10pm on October 24th until October 28th and October 31st until November 3rd, and from 5pm – 9pm every day from November 4th Until January 5th (excluding Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and St Stephen’s Day).

All tickets must be pre-booked online, and tickets will not be sold at the gates.

Admission to Wild Lights will range from €24.50 to €25.50 for adults and from €20 to €21 for children.

Annual pass holders can avail of a special rate, from €22.50 to €23.50 for adults and from €18 to €19 for children.

Children under the age of three go free but will require a pre-booked ticket, and carers with valid identification can visit for free if accompanying an adult or child.

Students and OAP tickets are also available from €20.50 to €21.50 for annual pass holders and from €21.50 to €22.50 for those without an annual pass.
