In a post uploaded to the social media platform yesterday, the mother-of-two announced that she is officially nine months sober – an announcement that has been met with an outpouring of support and encouragement by her followers.
Indeed, almost 150,000 people have reacted to the post which while joyful in its delivery wasn’t devoid of her trademark self-effacing tone.
“9 months sober today! And the beginning of an ab is appearing. Very pleased. Still can’t make my bed though,” she wrote alongside the full-size selfie taken in her bedroom.

The Hard Out Here singer, who turns 35 on Saturday, followed her announcement with a photo of a rose bouquet, which was artfully arranged to include her initial – a particularly nice touch considering Lily once worked as a florist.

Indeed, Lily and David Harbour’s relationship has been a massive talking point among fans this week with many speculating that the pair are now engaged after Lily shared a photo of herself wearing what looks like an engagement ring.
