2. Write letters and send them to residents in nursing homes
Because they fall under the category of those extra vulnerable to getting seriously ill from the novel coronavirus, many elderly in nursing homes across the country have been shut off from having visitors these next few weeks.
There is no denying their days will be long and lonely, and so how about you get your children to write some lovely letters to residents at a local nursing home? Or, make some colourful art to send? I am sure it will all be much appreciated.
3. Make kindness tones and leave them at a local park
I love the idea of this. Take a walk on a local beach (or somewhere else where you will find pebbles or smooth stones), then bring them home, clean them and paint them with lovely colours and maybe some uplifting and kind words and messages too. Let them dry, and then take them to a local park and leave them out for people to find them. Or leave them around your neighbourhood to cheer up your entire community.
