According to their inventors, THINX pants provide a “Quad-Dry BreatheTECH support matrix”… all hidden within beautiful underwear. They’re leak and stain-resistant, moisture-wicking, anti-microbial, comfortable and (surprisingly) quite stylish.
Each style has varying levels of absorbency and areas of protection, with the most absorbent holding “up to two tampons worth” of liquid while claiming to keep “even your whitest white pants” safe. As well as being quite the handy innovation for women in this neck of the woods, Antonia Dunbar and Miki and Radha Agrawal (the co-founding twin sisters and friend behind THINX) discovered that many women in the developing world are missing almost a week of work or school every month (if not dropping out entirely or getting pregnant early) simply because they don’t have the resources to properly manage their period.
