This Cult Workout Takes 7 Minutes AND You Can Do It ANYWHERE

Katie Mythen-Lynch

If being too busy is your go-to excuse for avoiding exercise, you might want to look away now and pretend you didn’t see this.

The latest fitness craze to sweep the Internet has nothing to do with kettle bells, boot camp or TRX, requires no membership, no gym and (crucially) takes just seven minutes per day to get results.

Yes, really.

Inspired by the popular “7 Min: The Scientific 7-Minute Workout”, first published in the New York Times, the simple 12-exercise routine was designed by leading sports medicine practitioners who were tasked with creating something highly effective that could be done at home.

The routine they came up with is so simple you’ll be sweating up a storm in minutes and whittling away the summer wobble in as little as a week.

A website followed, allowing anyone to follow the routine in the comfort of their own home and now there’s a handy app too, meaning you can take your workout everywhere with you.

A bargain at 99c, the app works like this:

Everything is clearly laid out at the start:

2

Whenever you’re ready, hit start and a screen and/or voice prompt tells you what to do and for how long.

3

After 30 seconds, the app tells you it’s time to move on and which exercise to do next.
