
This delicious green shake will give your immune system a serious boost
Ward off the sniffles, ladies.
I don't know about you, but I always seem to catch a bit of a cold in the spring-time.
Maybe it's because the minute the sun is out I throw caution to the wind and happily wear summer dresses and sandals. Or maybe it's just the fact that I have young children, and am under constant attack from all the germs and snots kids generally bring into your life.
However, this season, I am upping my vitamin game to really power up my immune system.
Enter my new breakfast: The Green Super Shake.
It not only tastes totally delish, it is also choc-a-block with vitamins to keep me healthy and germ-free all year round.
Ingredients
- ½ pineapple
- ½ honey melon
- ½ cucumber
- A handful rocket
- A handful parsley
- 2 piece of celery
- 2 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 tablespoon honey
- 1 cup buttermilk or yoghurt
- Fresh mint
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a blender… blend, pour and enjoy! Serve it with fresh mint, ice cubes, or if you like, a shot of soda water.
