These experts have found a song that makes ALL babies fall asleep within minutes

Trine Jensen-Burke

As a sleep-deprived new parent, chances are you will be willing to try almost anything to get your baby or toddler to sleep.

You pace the floor, sing lullabies until your voice goes and some even go to the drastic step of driving aimlessly around the local neighborhood trying to get the baby to finally surrender and go the f**k asleep. (Guilty of all three, by the way.)

But of you feel like you are about to go ga-ga from lack of shuteye, science might have some great news for you.

There is a song in existence that neuroscientists at Mindlab International claim is the most relaxing tune ever created. And indeed, Weightless, produced in 2011 as a collaboration between Marconi Union and the British Academy of Sound Therapy, was made with this exact purpose in mind.

Researcher Dr. David Lewis-Hodgson says that Weightless reduced anxiety in participants by 65 percent. Also observed was a 35 percent reduction in their resting heart rates.

The ambient music uses low pitch, sprinkled with manipulated sounds from instruments and nature. These deliberate arrangements of sound are said to “induce a trance-like state.”

So here you go, guys – it is at the very least worth a shot!

Well, if it’s backed by science!
