Finally! Chrissy Teigen Spills The Beans On How Celebrity Mums Really Lose The Baby Weight

For all of us who have shed a lot sweat (and tears) trying to get rid of the baby weight we packed on when pregnant, let me assure you that it can feel utterly disheartening to watch celebrities stroll out of the delivery room practically red carpet ready. 

And when I say disheartening, I mean soul crushing. Obvs.

The thing is; we all know, deep down, how they do it. We just wish they would admit to it instead of making the rest of us think we are just stuck with bad genes or squat-resistant love handles…

Well, mamas, enter everyone’s favourite celebrity mama Chrissy Teigen.

The model mama, who welcomed daughter Luna a few months back has been refreshingly honest about what motherhood is really like, and in a recent interview with Today, she revealed the often-hushed reality behind the rapid weight loss most new celebrity mums experience:

“Anyone in the public eye, we have all the help we could ever need to be able to shed everything. So I think people get this jaded sensation that everybody’s losing it so quickly, but we just happen to be the ones who are out there. We have nutritionists, we have dietitians, we have trainers, we have our own schedules, we have nannies. We have people who make it possible for us to get back into shape. But nobody should feel like that’s normal, or like that’s realistic.”

Look, we know this isn’t exactly earth shattering, but let’s at least appreciate Ms Teigen for being so honest about how they make it look so easy while the rest of us might struggle with those lbs a little longer.

So cut yourself some slack, mamas, those skinny jeans will still be in fashion in a few months – you have plenty of time to get back into them!
