Penneys Launches New Collection In Support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Melissa Carton

A fantastic initiative.

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Penneys have launched its first collection designed especially for those who have undergone breast surgery.

The new collection will include leisure, nightwear, underwear and accessories designed with breast cancer treatment in mind.

The new collection has been informed by focus groups of cancer patients and oncology nurses who have trial and tested the pieces.

The resulting collection focuses on comfort for those undergoing cancer treatment, while also remaining stylish and chic.

Clothing in the new range have been especially designed for ease of dressing post surgery, with fabrics noted for their cooling qualities as well as soft touch.

One piece in the collection, the post surgery zip up bra is designed for optimum comfort, with both front and back closures to ensure ease of dressing immediately after surgery.

The collection includes two styles of post surgery bras, as well as slippers, t-shirts, sweatpants and cosmetic bags.

The entire range comes in beautiful soft pink and mauve tones and has 22 pieces in total.

The new 22 piece Breast Cancer collection is now available in select Penneys stores throughout the country with prices for items in the range starting from as little as €4.

The Irish charity partner for this Penneys collection is the Irish Cancer Society.

As it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month we would like all of our readers to be informed on how to properly check your breasts.
