Mendoza, who is a vegetarian, credits her healthy diet for staying in shape during her pregnancy. "When I was pregnant my diet was pretty much the same, so I ate lots of salads and raw food," she explains to the DailyMail.co.uk. "But the main thing that I increased when I was pregnant was the amount of vegetable juice and green smoothies. I would drink one litre of cold-pressed juice every day, and then I drunk two vegetable smoothies with supplements."
The 37-year-old started her healthy eating regime 15 years ago, and has since followed a predominately plant-based diet including lentils, beans and grains. But while eating super-healthy, Mendoza is more relaxed about her exercise regime, and claims to visit a gym only once a week. "I do weights and a little bit of walking, I also enjoy dancing."
