School's out, summer's here and our road trip pocket is growing day by day.
As the season stretches out in front of us, we're keen to make the absolute most of it by filling our days with memorable trips, and eFlow are on hand to make our adventures a whole lot easier.
With an eFlow Video Tolling Account (valid for M50 only), motorists can save up to €0.70 on every M50 journey, automatically paying M50 tolls while avoiding unnecessary penalties. Set up is free, and once you've registered, you can manage your account online and check your journey history and statements.
eFlow takes the hassle out of travelling on the M50, so you can worry less about fines and focus on what matters most – family fun. You can sign up for an eFlow Video Tolling Account right here. Here's where we're hitting up for memory-making this summer.
Zipit Forest Adventures
Got a couple of thrill-seekers at home? Pop on the M50 and journey out to Zipit Forest Adventures in Tibradden Wood. Nestled among the Dublin Mountains, Zipit is home to six circuits, kitted out with tightropes, suspension bridges and cargo nets, and it's suitable for kids aged 7 and up.
Killiney Hill Park
Killiney and its environs are often compared to Italy's Amalfi Coast, and this rings especially true on sunny days. Killiney Hill Park offers spectacular ocean views, easy trails and even a little coffee shop for treats along the way. Top tip – pack your togs and enjoy a dip or a paddle on White Rock Beach.
Kylemore Karting
Feeling competitive? Battle it out with your crew at Kylemore Karting, where kids over 137cm can hop into a Junior Kart and get zoomin' on the course. With three indoor tracks, this activity is ideal for those rainy days, which, let's face it, are simply a part of the Irish summer.
Howth Cliff Walk
With a charming harbour, ice-cream parlours aplenty and hidden beaches, the town of Howth makes for an ideal day trip. The jewel in the crown is the Howth Cliff Walk, a 7.8km loop-walk, offering families premium vistas and a healthy dose of sea-air.
Dublin Zoo and Phoenix Park
You just can't beat a classic, especially in summer. Embrace your wild side and enjoy a trip to Dublin Zoo. Visit the animals, learn something new and, afterwards, make the most of the sprawling Phoenix Park, where you can enjoy a picnic, see the striking Wellington Monument and keep your eyes peeled for the many deer that call this park home.
