It’s that time of year when Liffey Valley shopping centre becomes a winter wonderland, and this year’s Christmas light switch-on with Santa Claus is set to be unforgettable. Mark your calendars for 16th November – a day of festive fun is waiting!
Santa will make his grand entrance at 4 pm, lighting up the centre and opening his magical Grotto, where little ones can share their Christmas wishes right up until Christmas Eve. Arriving in style, he’ll be escorted by a Little Blue Hero- an Honorary Garda for the day, specially chosen for this festive occasion. This heartfelt tradition, in partnership with Little Blue Heroes – a foundation dedicated to supporting families of seriously ill children, promises an unforgettable experience for all.
Family Fun Done Right
Kicking off from 1 pm, this free event will be a delight for children and parents alike, featuring face painting, arts and crafts, and a line-up of live performances. It’s an ideal way to soak up some Christmas cheer, bring smiles to young faces, and maybe even tick a few presents off the list.
