In Ireland, the phenomenon of ‘Leaving Cert Weather’ is the stuff of legends.
For those not in the know, ‘Leaving Cert Weather’ is the phrase used to describe the unbearably gorgeous weather that inevitably falls over the period when students are chained to their desks studying for exams.
Unfortunately, Met Éireann’s weather predictions are less than favourable this weekend with rainy showers afoot. With Leaving Cert Weather being elusive this year, Deliveroo is making its own sunshine and giving students a treat to brighten up their long, revision filled days.
Deliveroo has teamed up with its best pals, Ben & Jerry’s, to do a major nationwide giveaway of Ireland’s favourite dessert.
From Cookie Dough to Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Deliveroo customers will be able to redeem a free 100ml tub of their choice using the code LEAVINGCERT from any Ben & Jerry’s store on the Deliveroo app today.
Alternatively, Deliveroo customers can also redeem their free tub when ordering through student staple Boojum.
Those spending €10 or more at Boojum can simply add a free tub of Ben & Jerry’s onto their order by using the code – easy breezy!
But you’ll need to get in there quick as there are only 1,000 tubs up for grabs and once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Commenting on the giveaway Breffney Brass, Director of Deliveroo Ireland, said:
